About Me

My name is Brian Li, and this is my personal blog. I like writing about a bunch of different things, but most of my writing revolves around music. I’m currently a music industry student at Northeastern University. Outside school, I’m an active pit orchestra musician in Boston and the surrounding suburbs. I’m very interested in keyboard playing and programming, photography, design, audio, and software. I hope you will discover something interesting and engaging here! I hope to share lots of my thoughts and experiences as a student and musician. Oh, and if you want to hire me for a gig or something, please email me! Enjoy your stay, and feel free to contact me with any questions or comments!

My current live keyboard rig for musical theatre is:

  • Yamaha Motif XF as a synthesizer, master controller, and audio interface
  • Apple MacBook Pro with Logic and Mainstage
  • On-Stage Stands Keyboard Stands

My blog is built on the WordPress platform with the Thesis theme. I choose Little Oak Hosting for their extremely reliable service and support.
