Bad drivers are the worst. On my way home from Spelling Bee rehearsal today, someone cut me off right before a highway exit. I was in the right lane decelerating to get off the highway, when he (or she) decided to cut from the left lane into the exit. Two feet was between us when it happened. It was almost a head on collision. I instinctively turned the wheel right, and scraped a snowbank instead of the railing. I’m pretty grateful for blizzard this past weekend. Damage would’ve been much worse if I had hit the railing.
I understand bad drivers. I really do…but there’s a difference between being naturally bad and being a complete moron. Where in the world did this person get the idea to cut me off right before a highway exit? The obvious solution would be to decelerate and move into the right lane. That’s what a normal person would do. That’s what a bad driver would do. I take back what I said about bad drivers being the worst. Moronic drivers are actually the worst.
On a more positive note, Spelling Bee rehearsal went pretty well today. I have to finish up keyboard programming in the morning…hope 2.5 hours is enough to do the last six or seven numbers. Tomorrow is the dress rehearsal, and performances are Wednesday through Friday.
